Well that became even more possible now that all the votes have been counted.
Sinn Féin were expected to do pretty well in this election but nobody expected this.
There's seems that there's a bit of a missed opportunity here as, SF only entered 42 candidates. That 37 seat total would certainly have been significantly more had they had a few more candidates.
If Mary Lou was to become the Irish leader, it certainly would accelerate a United Ireland poll.
Mary Lou has said she would want to create a government without any of the two parties currently in a coalition government, (FF and FG). She certainly has the numbers to do that if she can convince the other lesser parties to join her to form a government, (she needs 80 seats to do that).
