  2. Jeff Hendrick played well and nearly scored.
It pains me to say this but I'm suspicious of GK Randolph's positioning for that own goal.
Also his positioning and non-dive against Bosnia-Herzegovina was very suspicious.

    1. Ya have ta look at the guy that scored the OG.
      Initials CC. (33).
All part of the plan if ya ask me.
Still feeling good about our chances.

  3. ROI game ends in a draw 1-1. Italy is currently up 1-0 on Belgium. I think that is a good outcome since Belgium is the highest ranked team in the group

    1. I agree, a 1-1 tie is not a bad result either.

    1. Nothing is 100%.
Look back at all my posts on this and my 131 theory.
If ya don't think its gonna work for ya, don't bet it.
I gain nothing or lose anything either way.

    2. It's very difficult to make accurate predictions.
It's possible that there are layers of corruption and control vying to influence the outcome of matches.
It's a complex business but we have to keep chipping away at it.

    3. Yes Mick,
Although my theory has now worked for the Superbowl, the NCAA, the EPL, The Stanley Cup, the FA cup and much more, this year alone.
If anyone needs to question it then don't use it. I think it has validity.

    5. Nice job. Every 12 years an underdog wins??

    6. There are a number of underdogs in Euro 2016.
Is it only ROI who have a 131 birthday?

      Delete
    7. Yes Mick, as far as I know there are no other Jan 31st birthdays.

    8. Interesting that Jackie Robinson - who is associated with the number 42 - was a 131 birthday.

    9. That is interesting. Didn't know that. Its definitely an important date.

    2. Nah they dont have 2 beat em can finish 2nd to go through

    3. Bally, I'm suspicious of Roy Hodgson. Think he's a fixer.
I'm 2014 WC he picked dodgy Gerrard who was poor in March 1 v Italy for match 2 v Uruguay and Gerrard "accidentally on purpose" put Suarez through to score.

      Delete
    4. Of course, he's playing his part in this farce.
I think they may make the final against Ireland this time though.

    5. Twice now Bale has benefited from poor keeping.
I suspect that Joe Hart let that goal in on purpose.

    6. I would guess so...
      England still win though.
Looks like England v Ireland final??

    2. There's a guy on Venezuela team and I'm getting conflicting info on. Wikipedia has his birthday as October 20th. Transfermarket.co.uk has his birthday as October 31st. 10/31 similar to 1/31

  10. Ok, so does Ireland beat Italy
While Sweden and Belgium draw ?
But what about if 2 teams on same points ?

    ReplyDelete
  11. My guess is we beat Italy.
Top 2 teams go through and four best 3rd place teams.
Same points? Then its goal difference then goals scored.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Thanks for pointing this out Bally
Would be nice if ROI can defeat italy 2-0 or 3-0 and the Bel v Swe draw or if Sweden win but by a small margin

    1. No prob.
      Italy already through.
They might play their b team..lol

  13. I did not know about the best 3rd placed teams !!

Also recall ireland beat italy on 1994 1-0 again in group e ! 22 years ago.

Don't look good atm tho with -3 goals
Need a big win ! But bare in mind italy are yet to concede.

    1. I believe if they beat Italy it will be enough to get one of the third place spots regardless of the score.
