Premier League Drama - Leicester City's Jamie Vardy Suspended

Jamie Vardy has accepted an FA charge of improper conduct toward referee Jon Moss in Leicester City's game against West Ham last Sunday. Vardy was going to miss this Sunday’s game against Swansea but now will likely miss the next game against Manchester United and possibly the game after that against Everton.

The race for the Premier League title is expected to get closer now.

Spurs have closed the gap to 5 points after Leicester could only draw 2-2 last week and Spurs demolished Stoke City 4-0.
The Jamie Vardy loss for Leicester is huge but you would have to question the timing of this suspension.
4 matches left, Leicester in the driving seat and then they lose their best player and the League's top goal scorer.
Hmmmmm.....

But, as I said before, Leicester do have that the January 31st birthday.
Liam Moore, born 1/31/1993.

I believe the Vardy suspension is to manufacture some excitement into the final few weeks of the title race.
Spurs may come back into it and it may come down to the final day
but... in my opinion, Leicester City will prevail.
I'm sure a few people will wager a few bucks on Spurs based on the Vardy suspension, which I think is a smokescreen.

But why Leicester City, why isn't it another team to have this 'miraculous' season.
Well, my thinking is in Simple Gematria, Leicester City =153.
There's the story in the bible about the 'miraculous' catch of 153 species of fish.
If Leicester hold on, this will indeed be a 'miracle'.

  1. I just noticed on Sky Sports News that Jamie Redknapp scored 33 goals in the premier league.

  2. The RTE panel has made a point of telling us that, e.g. Wes Houlihan and Jon Walters are 33. Also Dunphy said that Ronaldo will be 33 in a couple of seasons.
Also there's that Irish sports website called the 42.

    1. You know well it is.
Remember Alex Higgins last time at the Crucible?
I think it was against, Steve James. That was the night Alex lost and stayed in the arena drinking away and the guy cmae up to Alex and I'm guessing, asked him to leave as they were closing.
Alex then went into the press conference, badly intoxicated. He announced his retirement from Snooker, called snooker the most "corrupt game in the world". The BBC only showed a small part of it but according to David Vine, the press conference went on for ages. The rest of that press conference was never shown on TV. It looked like ALex was tired of playing the loser and it got to him. My guess is Alex said a lot more than he should have that night and was punished for it. I wish I could get to se the whole press conference but I have had no luck finding it on youtube.

  5. I've been following the World Championship of snooker trying to discern rigging.
There has been plenty of drama.
